That to me is a concerning number ..58% being almost two-thirds of people are living paycheck to paycheck, which means they don't have any savings. So what if that catastrophic event happens, where now they're forced to have to buy a new car right they got in a car accident or a medical emergency, now they have medical expenses on top of it, and now they're going to have to dip into, you know, other means of credit card debt or whatnot. And, you know, it's a snowball effect when and that can quickly grow into an avalanche.
There are some things that you can do to deal with this financial stress, control actually what you can control, control your spending. So cut out little expenses that can really add up over time. Also, buy groceries online to avoid impulse buying. Also don't buy when you're hungry. And if you do have savings find CD’s or money market accounts that are paying at least three to 4% and up.
